It is slowly but surely getting a little colder in Rustavi. Every now and then the sky surprises us with rain. So it took a few attempts until we found the perfect day to hang the beautiful mosaic that former volunteers had made. It is easy to identify Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the scout movement, on the mosaic. He founded the movement more than 100 years ago.
The mosaic can now be admired by anyone interested. It is located at the back of the grey building. We had a lot of fun mixing the cement and finishing the project. It was certainly exhausting work to put all the little pieces together, but we think it was worth it!
Mosaic was made at the initiative of our Latvian volunteer Laura Zake, with the help of other ESC volunteers.
